Programme Description

The Yesu Akwagala Bible College certificate of Theology program seeks to produce graduates who are able to demonstrate the key undergraduate competencies in the outcome areas of:

• Teaching Biblical relevance that impacts lives in communities
• Building Christian Community Leaders to reach their full God-given potential
• Train God-dependent leaders to be proactive critical thinkers who are prepared to use various entrepreneurial skills to impact the holistic needs of the community
• Empower students to fulfill the great commission in whatever role they are led through God's direction.

Program Objective

1. Establish a program of sound biblical teaching and study for Christian men and women
2. Create an atmosphere that draws each individual into a deeper relationship with Christ.
3. Develop dynamic, purposeful leaders who are ready to change their world for Christ.
4. Train the next generation for national transformation and advancing the Kingdom of God in East Africa and the world

Target Group

Anyone who feels a call of God on their life to become a pastor or community leader, those who are already serving in pastoral ministry and others who want a solid biblical foundation before moving on to other areas of academic or business careers.

Duration of study

Based upon the vision and the target group YABC became convicted that to accomplish all, it will be necessary for students to go through a 2 year certificate program so that the full essence of Theology will be sealed. For effective delivering and accomplishing our purpose, our curriculum will be delivered in term basis instead of semesters. This benefits the students who are already in practical ministry to serve their local churches and ministry grounds as they are being equipped.

Entry Requirement for Certificate Program:

1. Direct Entry Scheme: i. Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 3 passes or its equivalent. 
2. Or the equivalent of the above.
